Our process begins with listening — not just to the project brief, but to the emotions, values, and ambitions that drive it. Inspired by Hoa Đất’s structured approach, we clarify objectives, audience, brand essence, and context from the very start .
We engage clients with an immersive brief, supplemented by a brand “homework” worksheet — mapping vision, voice, values, and audience perception early on, similar to Function Creative’s methodology
Armed with insights, we analyze competitors, cultural trends, and audience expectations to form a creative strategy. We then pull together moodboards and vision snapshots that serve as a compass — an emotional and aesthetic north star for the brand identity.
We iterate visually and conceptually. Taking inspiration from Architectural Digest’s testimonials about hand-drawing, we often begin with tactile sketches and watercolors — expressive, evocative, and conveying emotion in ways that digital never could .
From informal sketches, we develop refined digital drafts — typically 2–3 fully-realized paths for the client to choose from. Echoing processes shared by many agencies, this strategy balances creativity with clarity to avoid decision fatigue
Presenting initial concepts goes beyond visuals — it’s storytelling. We explain the rationale, value alignment and strategic intent behind each direction. Papirfly’s guidance on using moodboards, prototypes, and a brand narrative in presentations is something we adopt when engaging with clients.
Once a concept is selected, we refine it through limited and focused rounds of feedback to preserve momentum and creative integrity. The result is a polished, purpose-driven brand identity.
We deliver files and brand guidelines clearly and thoughtfully — logos in multiple formats, style guides, templates, and asset libraries — following the high standards seen in Big Cat Creative’s process.
